Steven Yip is a New Zealand born citizen of Chinese descent raised in a small city called Palmerston North. In 2004, he graduated from Massey University College of Creative Arts as an Industrial Designer and decided to take his creative journey to China.

During the past 17 years working in China, he has led projects and teams of designers while simultaneously been very successful in creating many innovative consumer electronic products. Brands like IKEA, Jamo, Honeywell, TCL and Xiaomi.

He has also worked across various disciplines within his field of expertise which has further helped develop and promote organizations through products and brands. As a result, the success and growing demand for these products have further enhanced his creative knowledge from ideas to finished products - provided with platforms to help others understand user experience through good design.
