This was a development project propose to improve the user experience of Oculus headset through soft goods materials, ease of use and comfort.
Initial problems were found during long play, the irritation of head security lack comfort from heat and making adjustments.
The design propose looked into easy adjustment through a single and double hand pull strap adjustment while the unit is in front of the face.
Fabric was the key play using 3D knit process to wrap and laminated to give the unit extra comfort on the skin and easy to disassemble for cleaning.
